I am a member of the Kahkewistahaw First Nation. I have extensive experience working with a diverse population from diverse racial backgrounds. I have several years of experience working with children, families and individuals who have experienced interpersonal trauma and disruption in their family dynamic. I am a Therapeutic Play Practitioner (T.P.P.), and studied Trauma informed play-based therapy to help children and their families heal from a traumatic experience. My office/playroom is a safe place for children and youth to express and process their difficult emotions.

• Through hands on learning it helps improve the child’s skills of listening, following directions, understanding consequences and at the same time strengthen parent- child connection.
• Caregivers learn effective tools to parent with greater confidence, less stress, and more enjoyment
• PCIT increases feelings of safety, security, and attachment to caregiver.
